Cappataggle Interconnecting Pipework
Project Description:
The extent of the works included the following:
- The laying of 34km of PE interconnecting watermains ranging in diameter from 110mm - 280mm, this included 6nr crossings of the N6 (Galway to Dublin Road) by directional drilling.
- Construction of a 2500m3 Water Storage Reservoir and associated groundworks including the excavation and disposal of 5500t of topsoil, rock and other material.
- The construction of a booster pumping station and installation of plant.
- Bulk Meter/ PRV installations, valve replacements
